We Recommend…

Around Town

Other recommendations

While visiting Nashville and Williamson County, whether you’re in the market for a home or simply previewing the area with a future move date in mind, we at Jimmy Franks Homes would like to recommend a few local favorites to help you enjoy your stay.

MUST SEE

Country Music Hall of Fame (www.countrymusichalloffame.com)

Grand Ole Opry (www.opry.com)

Lower Broadway, affectionately called honky-tonk heaven. Catch a Predators hocky game and visit Tootsies, Robert’s Western World and, of course, The Ryman Auditorium.

Bluebird Cafe, the legendary singer-songwriter venue (www.bluebirdcafe.com)

The Pond, 595 Hillsboro Road, Franklin’s nitty gritty place to hear local out of the box musicians. It can and will get rowdy.

Titans game - Downtown LP field is a tough ticket to get. The Titans have sold out every game since moving into the stadium in 1999. The best bet is to go to the stadium game day and hope for the best. Season schedules can be found at titansonline.com or by calling 615.565.4200.

RESTAURANTS

With today’s economy it’s always best to call ahead but some of our favorites include:

Zolas, The Yellow Porch, Sunset Grill, The Red Pony, Wild Ginger, Back to Cuba Cafe, Margo Cafe & Bar, Noshville, Shalimar Fine Indian Cuisine, McCabe’s Pub, Swett’s, Agave, Lime, Peter’s Sushi-Thai, The Loveless Cafe. Other Franklin local establishments include:

Bunganut Pig Franklin - 1143 Columbia Avenue, (615) 794-4777
Kimbro’s Cafe - 214 S Margin St., Franklin (615) 599-2946
Puckett’s Grocery, Franklin - 120 4th Avenue South, (615) 794-5527
.

SHOPPING

We have great malls like Coolsprings Galleria and The Mall at Green Hills but for more variety and boutique shops try: 12th Avenue South, The District, downtown; Downtown Franklin; Hill Center in Green Hills, anchored by a fabulous Whole Foods Market; Hillsboro Village and 8th Avenue Antique District.
